T-Bone's founders Brian & Carmen Ulveland started their first concept store in Langley’s Walnut Grove in 1997. The stores reputation for providing fresh gourmet meat products grew rapidly. From 1997-2001 Brian & Carmen  grew their one unit franchise system into 7 with stores in Langley, Coquitlam, Surrey, Abbotsford, Burnaby, and  Maple Ridge.

In 2001 Brian & Carmen saw the Okanagan Market and lifestyle on the horizon. They decided to sell their franchise system which was a big decision, considering Brian and Carmen named the stores after Brian’s father Clancy.

In 2004 Brian and Carmen found a location in Kelowna and opened it up as an independent of the company they founded back in Langley in 1997.

After operating the Kelowna store for more than three years under the previous brand, Brian and Carmen decided to start a new brand, T-Bones Fresh Meal Market with locations in Kelowna , Westbank and soon to be Penticton.
